The rest of the staff were really friendly & lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at ease. as well as our onward journey to Ayutthaya. even when we probably asked too many questions! He advised us about the good places to go locally and helped us book a full day tour. Our beds were super comfy, the air con was much appreciated and we had everything we needed 🙌🏼 Jason, the owner was so welcoming as soon as we arrived and was extremely helpful & knowledgeable with lots of information. We had a flying 2 night visit through Kanchanaburi and chose The Nine Guesthouse based on previous reviews and they were not wrong! On our arrival we were able to check in early and were also given a free upgrade the room was spacious, spotless and free water, tea and coffee was provided each day. I highly recommend the nine Guesthouse if you're headed to kanchanaburi I don't think you will be upset if you choose this Guesthouse I will return without question … The owner John very friendly always willing to help out with information. Each room has a nice little porch area in front that you can relax if you're a smoker as the rooms are non-smoking as I don't smoke this had no effect on me either way. I checked in a couple hours before normal check-in time which was no problem the room itself very large very very clean good comfortable bed flat screen television refrigerator air conditioning free water daily and free coffee and a coffee maker in the room.
That suits me well because I like to see what's between point A and point B not just get there. None of those locations are more than to kilometer a 15 or 20 minute walk. Fantastic location within walking distance of the massive Night Market the train station the bus station as well as the River Kwai Bridge. I booked the three night stay unbelievable value at under 700 Baht per night or under $21 a night.
